Meet-Our-Pastor

Pastor Brenda R. Anderson accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Personal Savior in 1978. She is an ordained minister in the Church of God. Pastor Anderson received her Associate Degree (2004) and Bachelor’s Degree (2005) in Pastoral Counseling from National Bible College and Seminary located in Fort Washington, Maryland. In 2007, Pastor Anderson received her Master’s of Arts Degree in Religious Studies from Howard University School of Divinity. Pastor Anderson has received credits towards her studies in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. On January 21, 2013, Pastor Brenda Anderson received an Doctor of Divinity from CICA International University & Seminary. Pastor Brenda Anderson is currently attending Pentecostal Theological Seminary, Cleveland TN and will be graduating in 2021.

Pastor Brenda Anderson has 6 children, Nathan (deceased), Yolanda, Jerome, Tawanna, Gwendolyn, and Billy (deceased). She has 5 grandchildren, Anthony, Gregory, Alex, Caleb, and Akayla.

Pastor Brenda Anderson is founder of Victory Praise Church of God and Compel Them Outreach, Inc. both of which are located in Washington, DC. Brenda Anderson has been pastor at Victory Praise Church of God since 1996 and believes that "Whosoever Will Let Him Come" (Revelation 22:17).

Pastor Brenda Anderson is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Compel Them Outreach, Inc. since 1981. Compel Them Outreach, Inc. is an urban ministry in the Nation’s Capitol where our mission is “to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who feel that they have been forgotten, including drug addicts, alcoholics, homeless, socially, physically, and economically disadvantaged men, women, and children.” Luke 14:23 say’s “ And the Lord said unto the servant, go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Reverend Anderson has witnessed, fed, clothed, taught, preached to those God has sent her way, and has taken all of her experiences along with the revelation knowledge from God to meet the needs of all those who crossed the paths of this ministry. She is not only committed to the spiritual man, but also helping people to function successfully in society.

Pastor Brenda Anderson served 2 terms (2004 – 2008) on the Delmarva-DC Church Evangelism Board for the Delmarva-DC regional churches.

Pastor Anderson has preached numerous revivals and has conducted conferences across the country. These include, District of Columbia, Virginia, Alaska, Georgia, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, and Maryland.

Pastor Brenda Anderson has a passion for winning souls into the Kingdom of God. She is an anointed woman of God operating in the 5-fold ministry gifts. She loves God with all her heart, mind, soul and strength. She loves Him more today than yesterday.
